I Have Rheumatoid Arthritis

All I can say my dear fellow RA suffer is that you suffered 25 years less than me and I envy you. If I could trade your age, for the age it attacked me in my 40's I would be so grateful.

I have it in all of my body. My hands are still fine, and thank God, as I need to use a computer to make a living.

I am sorry this will mar your years to come, but I couldn't help but say.

I am married to a dancer and this retched disease has taken that joy from my life among others.

Bless you.

At the beginning of this year at age 73, I had a sudden aggressive onset of rheumatoid arthritis in the knuckles of both hands. My rheumatoligist told me that it is much more common with younger women. My regular doctor told me she has 10 patients my age who have also had sudden agressive attacks of RA in the knuckles of their hands. How common is this? Is it a recent development?
