The recent statement by Kanye West, that "Bush doesn't care about black people", was born of a furor that we all share, after seeing what we have, down in New Orleans, over the past two weeks. When I awoke this morning, I checked out the news on the BBC, and was greeted with quite a sight. The exodus from the gulf coast, in anticipation of Rita landfall is without a doubt, the greatest mass-mobilization of citizenry this country has ever seen (correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't seem to recall another situation in which over a million people have been issued a mandatory evacuation order, in this country.)
