I got back from the DC rally today, and I'll just write bluntly, tonight...

SCREW THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA. The AP reported 100,000 showed up. The Baltimore Sun reported "Tens of Thousands." The only network I saw with cameras on the csene were from the Hispanic "Univsion" channel. (more...)

I want to preface my comments, regarding the ongoing disaster in south asia/africa/oceania by urging folks out there to PLEASE give a few bucks to the International Red Cross/Red Crescent societies. Whatever one's opinions may be regarding the war in Iraq, we can all agree that our men and women in uniform deserve the best that can be provided.

I have been against this war since the first day, but I am sure that many who support this war share my anger at seeing our servicepeople deprived of essential armor for both themselves, and their vehicles. (more...)

This caught my eye- courtesy of Freeway Blogger.

Last June, Yves Eudes, a reporter for Le Monde, came to my house and interviewed me about freewayblogging. He was a younger man, in his thirties, good looking and somewhat reserved, almost shy, which for a reporter surprised me. (more...)
